For actor-politician Ravi Kishan, he was a great friend. Ravi said, “Today, I have lost a great human being, an adorable personality, an exceptional actor and a close friend. I will miss Irrfan bhai. May his soul rest in peace!”

Recalling old memories with Irrfan, actor Abhimanyu Singh said, “I have known Irrfan bhai from the beginning of my career as I worked with him in a television series, Jayate. Irrfan was not only a hard-working actor but also a brave person. He was a fighter. I have learnt several things from him. We have spent a lot of time together. We used to go on long drives, discuss theatre, films and also about our personal lives. I will miss him.”

Actor Shekher Suman believes that this is the saddest news ever. He said, “This is shocking news for me. I will miss Irrfan bhai. Though he is not among us today, he will be always in my heart. I extend my condolences to his family and dear ones. Long live Irrfan Khan!”

Sharing similar views, actress Neetu Chandra said, “My memories with Irrfan are only that of laughter and smiles. I still can’t process this. He was a humble actor for his fans and a trustworthy friend for me. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Sutapa Sikdar, and sons, Babil and Ayan, who have to deal with such a huge loss.”

Actress Pakhi Hegde took to social media to post a picture of Irrfan and wrote: “Rest in peace Irrfan. You are a great loss to the entire country.”
