Abhimanyu Singh shoots in Bihar for his upcoming movie

Singh, is in Bihar to shoot for a movie that is set to release in 2020. He reached

Jehanabad

on Sunday and started shooting for Bandit Shakuntala, directed by Hyder Kazmi. Besides Abhimanyu, Omkar Das Manikpuri will also play a prominent character in the movie. Abhimanyu said, “I will shoot in the village areas near Jehanabad till December 29. This movie is based on a real-life story of a lady dacoit of Bihar, Shakuntala Devi. The interesting thing about the movie is that Shakuntala Devi herself will play the lead character.”

Before visiting Bihar, Abhimanyu was busy shooting for the film, Nikamma, which will release in May next year. He added, “I am also working in Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s comeback movie. I will play the role of an antagonist in the film, which is directed by Sabbir Khan. The film will entertain the audience with its storyline, comedy, romance and action scenes.”

Sharing his New Year plans, Abhimanyu said, “This year, I will miss the Christmas celebration with my family since I will be in Jehanabad. However, I will push off to Mumbai on December 30. My wife, Sargam Singh, is already busy planning for the big New Year’s bash. She will finalise the venue for the party soon. I also plan to take a foreign trip with my family once I am done with the shooting.”
