This was a perfect musical treat

This do hosted by Karan Rathore turned out to be a treat for the music lovers in the city.
As Pandit Dashrath Kumar and his student Dhruv Karki performed, the guests were entirely lost in the beats of the tabla and thoroughly enjoyed the classical music performance. A small concert was organsied by Karan to offer something completely classical, especially to the foreign guests.And his purpose was well accomplished, as all the guests who came to attend the evening were left mesmerised and almost felt transported to some other world.
THE WORLD SHOULD KNOW... Karan thought that the music lovers of the city should get an opportunity to enjoy an evening listening to somebody as talented as Pandit Dashrath Kumar. “Though he is a renowned musician from the Jaipur gharana, but not many people know about him, which is very sad. I just wanted people to have the pleasure of listening to the maestro. He has even played with maestros like Pandit Ravi Shankar, but not many people know about it,” said Karan.
AGE NO BAR: Teenagers as well as elderly couples seemed to be unwinding at this event. We saw many youngsters spending some quality time with their partners, at the event and enjoying the performance. And some of the guests also made a point to chat with the maestro after his performance and learn more about the music.
