The baap of all fests!

doweshowbellyad=0; Puja Verma (TOI photo)While the first two days of Samanvay the annual cultural fest - of a private university, rocked the city with a sizzling fashion and a mindblowing performance by the Euphoria band.
The event culminated with a musical evening with veteran bhajan singer Anup Jalota mesmerising the crowd with his soulful numbers.Setting the pace of the evening was a dance performance by Vichitra Mukherjee, who left the audience spellbound with her graceful moves.
Then it was Jalota���s turn who moving away from his usual bhajans started with the number Dama dam mast kalandar. And the crowd loved it. His other numbers like Jhoom barabar jhoom, Chaudhavi ka chand ho, Aisi lagi lagan, Kaifi Azmi���s Tum itna jo muskura rahe ho and O meri zohara jabi were liked as much.
Following this was a jugalbandi between him and Ratnesh Mishra, a tabla player, which left the audience asking for more.
