Strains of shehnai

The reception party of Kamran and Anum Aftab was one happening affair.
Besides, their close friends and relatives, one also saw many foreigners and politicians at the do. The venue was a popular party lawn which was well decorated with twinkling lights, colourful balloons and fragrant flowers.
Anum cut a pretty picture in a red heavy embroidered lehenga, while Kamran complimented her in a brown two-piece designer suit.
Naima and Zaibish Jawed who had come all the way from the US were seen wearing salwaar-kurtas. Tabassum Riwas, Shazia and Zohra Riwas looked sauve in pink saris. And guess what! There was a cake cutting ceremony too , much to the delight of the newlyweds. All the extrovert���s were seen chatting with each other over snacks and mocktails.
Another surprise entry to the party was that of Minister of State for Home Affairs Sriprakash Jaiswal who left soon after blessing the newly weds. So was the case with Irfan Solanki who dropped in just to bless the newlyweds. Varginia and David ��� close friends of Kamran ��� had come all the way from France to attend the party. City-based businessmen Shekhwat Quershi and Shadab Khan were seen discussing bussiness through out the do.
Meanwhile, Zuber Khan and Shazeb, close friends of the groom, were seen enjoying the evening with mocktails and snacks.
Though the do did not witness any naach-gaana, yet there was no compromise on the fun quotient as some shehnaiwalas had been especially invited from Aligarh to entertain the guests.
