Saluting the divine female spirit
An international women’s organisation celebrated ‘Vaishakh Utsav 2009’ with a traditional dance performance choreographed by artist Chandan Thakore at Tagore Hall on Tuesday.
An international women���s organisation celebrated ���Vaishakh Utsav 2009��� with a traditional dance performance choreographed by artist Chandan Thakore at Tagore Hall on Tuesday.
The event witnessed participation from some 400 women all over Gujarat with a large part of them being entrepreneurs.
The event also marked the spirit of women empowerment and self-reliance.
Present at the function were renowned Bharatnatyam dancer Ilakshiben Thakore, entrepreneurs Manjula Pooja Shroff and Ragini Shah at the function.
