It was raining cars on a rainy evening as one of the prominent clubs in the city organized a fun-filled evening on wheels for the club members ,who went for a treasure hunt across the city in their cars.
Vaibhav Rastogi and his better half Upasana were the first ones to arrive at the venue from where the cars were to be flagged off. The other members, however, arrived quite late for the event.
“Since it’s raining, people will come a little late. Any way, our club members are all late latifs,” joked Vaibhav.
The cars that started pouring in late were in all shapes and sizes, and some of them were innovatively decorated. Dinesh and Jyoti’s car was decorated like a dog and it had a long tail too with a sign saying, ‘Beware of the dog’. “We had invested a lot of our time in decorating the car but this incessant rain has played spoilsport and most of it has been washed away. I’m really very disappointed,” said a rather annoyed Jyoti.
Mahesh Srivastava came with a pup for car rally. “My dog goes wherever I go, so I have brought him here as well,” said a delighted Mahesh, whose SUV was decorated with leaves as he was trying to send out an eco-friendly message of ‘Save the environment’. Pragat made some major changes in his car. “I have changed my car from red to black with a lady bird on the bonnet. Isn’t it looking good? But yeh baarish aaj hi honi thi!” he rued. But all the cars were flagged off once the rain stopped.
