It���s said that all things change with time, but we have an exception when we talk about the photographs of Pranlal K Patel.
The exhibition of the stills captured by this 99-year-old photographer at Jawahar Kala Kendra is a visual delight for all Jaipurites. Some of the images captured by Patel are as old as the pre-independence era. Though the world has changed a lot since then, but the photographs haven���t.

It seems that the images from that time come alive in these frames. Says Patel about his passion, ���I took up photography as a hobby in 1932 but with the passage of time it developed into a lifelong passion,��� said Patel.
Historical Accounts: Titled as Centenary Collection, the exhibition saw a large number of art lovers turning up to get an eyeful of the beautiful photographs. For most of the attendees the exposition was seeing the transition in the world through the eyes of the nanogenerian ���This exhibition is more like a historical account, giving a pictorial representation of Indian history,��� said Priyal Sokhiya a visitor.
Preserving the past: The display amazed all the visitors when they saw the quality of the photograph and the way they were preserved. ���One hardly gets to see such interesting composition and excellent work of art. Moreover, each frame has immense capacity for subtle yet rich graphic composition preserved in an excellent manner,��� said Devyani Uba another visitor.
