Talk of the racing season and there is nothing more grand than the S A Poonawalla Million Trophy. Glamour, glitz, excitement... you name it and you had it at the Pune Race Course. It was a beautiful, sunny day and the highlight, undoubtedly, was the horse Mystical.And, the Poonawalla family have a sentimental attachment to him. Mystical is royally stationed now at the Poonawalla Stud Farms.
Models Nina Manuel, Tinna, Aanchal Kumar and Raman Lamba added to the zing element as the Poonawalla family ensured that that guests were well looked after. There were prizes galore as a Maruti car was there to be won.
The race course came alive with some lively music played by the bands. And, the high tea was the usual Poonawalla grand affair that was attended by top socialites of the city.
The spirited devotion of RWITC honcho Dr Cyrus Poonawalla and his brother Zavaray deserves a mention as they continue making the S A Poonawalla Million trophy the best of the racing calendar.
