It was an attempt by Darpan to salute the writing hero Saadat Hasan Manto for his exceptional contribution in writing.
And three of his plays Journalist, Akhbaar and Teen Khamosh Auratein were the flavour of the evening.The messages of these plays can easily fit in contemporary times and boast of having a timeless appeal. The effortless acting of the actors gathered applause, laughter and cheers. Kudos to Urmil Kumar Thapliyal for his directorial attempt, to Gopal Sinha for providing those memorable Vividh Bharti tunes, actors Anil Rastogi, Bhanumati Singh, Preeti Gupta, Shalini Vijay for their impeccable performance.
