The occasion was a dinner meet hosted by PK Mishra, Chief Secretary of the state and also the Chairman of a wellknown club of the city.
A lecture on Sant Kabir was delivered by former IAS and presently the Executive Chairman of the Hindi Sansthan, Dr Shambhu Nath.

The meeting began on a welcome note by RN Bhargava who requested the speaker and the chairman of the club to begin the ceremony by lighting the lamp. Pather puje jag mile to mai puju pahad, ta se ye chaaki bhali pees khaye sansaar was one of the couplets of Sant Kabir which was recited by Dr Shambhu Nath. He gave an enlightening speech on the topic 'Kabir Ka Rachna Sansar' .
P K Mishra, was overwhelmed with the speech and said, "Although I have not read much about Kabir but surely now I can draw a image of him."
Anil Duttani gave a brief overview of the remarkable work done by Dr Shambhu Nath and PK Mishra and their illustrious careers .
The audience comprising of eminent people of the city including AP Verma, Anant Jauhari, Rajiv Verma, RN Bhargava ,, KS Misra, VK Bansal, Anis Ansari, Lt Col GK Chaturvedi etc were left spellbound by Nath's vast ocean of knowledge and quirpy anecdotes.Even after the lecture ended, people were still discussing Kabir.
