Photography helps us see what we don’t observe in our daily life. And at the sixth all India exhibition of art photography 2007-08, held at the State Lalit Kala Akademi, the same was visible.

The photos on display made us see our familiar surroundings and objects in different ways. We never knew that an arm rest of a normal chair can be so aesthetically shown, until we saw the prize winning portfolio clicked by city-based photographer Ashish Patil.

Photographer Trilochan Singh captured shadows in an interesting way.
The event was inaugurated by noted lens-man PC Little and prizes were given to five photographers for their amazing work. Shambhu Das was also adjudged as one of the winners.
