New artist's brush strokes liberate

Art is a great way of expressing one���s innermost thoughts and feelings.
And Anshu Pawan, a budding artist from Jaipur has used the medium to convey how we can unshackle ourselves from the tedium of everyday life and not get bogged down by an increasingly materialistic world. She has done a series of paintings to convey this. Besides, some of her works also bring out the beauty and vitality of nature.Talking about her creations that are on display at Surekh Art Gallery, the artist said, ���My works talk about today���s world, that is getting overwhelmed by materialistic ways. Despite that there is much in nature that can give us happiness and peace.���
Titled Jijivisha, the series inspired visitors to explore the beauty and rhythm of life. ���The message the artist has conveyed is commendable and the way she has used different hues and shades to create a visual bonanza is remarkable,��� said Meera Kataria, an onlooker.
The visitors quite loved the diversity of works on display. Every canvas carried a message, while many of Anshu���s works were peppered with various elements, may it be a face, a garment or a trinket.
