Designer Twisha Chinai informed that the designs of the bags were drawn from Indian handicrafts and carried a touch of western taste and trends. Speaking about the ruling preferences amongst the fashionable women, Chinai says " Oversized bags are a huge draw this season, and are being carried by women in the evenings as well as at work." Explaining the intricate hand work done on tiny clutch bags, Chinai informed, " these little beauties continue to be an all time favourite at parties and go well with all kinds of dresses, be they western or Indian." Sasha Kale, observed, "the clientele in the city is way ahead in terms of fashion and style. They are awa re and experimental. They know about the international trends and make selective choices when it comes to buying. The women in Nagpur are very with it, and very trendy." Hand made purses, embroidered clutches, bronze totes and ethnic bridal purses where picked fast by the city's fashionable set, at this one day show. Kalpana Sharma was seen showing keen interest in clutch purses. Neeta Diwani and Shilp Grover drooled over the oversized totes.
