Be it in decor, cuisines, designer ensembles, functions or even the oh-so exclusive guests, Nagpurians believe in making every occasion grand. And we witnessed this razzmatazz at the CP Club, where Neerja and Navneet Shukul were hosting a do ahead of their son Kartik's wedding with Subodh Dharmadhikari���s daughter Ashwini.

Navneet and Subodh both being leading advocates of the city, it wasn���t surprising to see legal luminaries like V R Manohar present at this do. The girl's mother Sheela Dharmadhikari gave us an insight about this romantic saga. "Kartik was working as an intern with my hubby and he used to regularly visit our place. And we never knew when Kartik and Ashwini fell in love. But we are happy that now we have another lawyer in the family," said she. If mom-in-law dearest spoke about the couple's love story, Kartik seemed upbeat with his honeymoon plans. He beamed, "People generally choose exotic locales for their honeymoon, but we have decided that we will first go to Kanha. Of course, we do plan to go to Australia afterwards!"
Ready-to-wear saris!
Desinger saris have been a rage for quite sometime, but some of them love to tag them as ready-to- wear-saris. As Aparajita Tiwari, an Economics student from Delhi, who looked stunning in a designer black sari, put it, "Youngsters are more inclined to wear them because they are hassle-free and look great for parties."
