In the nik’aah of time
Weddings surely build a life-long bond between two people, and it is the presence of kith and kin that makes it a memorable one.
So Ghassan Anjum organised the wedding ceremony for Idtessan Anjum and Najeeb Abdul Aziz at a city based club to have a good time with good friends.
People poured in to revel and to bless the newly wed. The guests had no let downs as the welcome was far beyond their expectations, done in the most traditional and simple way by the shehnai played by one of the city based artists.
Apart from this there was a ghazal performance. Few of the ghazals that touched every ones hearts were Hoten se chulo tum, Tera chechra hai aeene jaisa, Ahista Ahista. Not one but all had just praises for the singer's voice which enlivened the atmosphere.
If not music then good looking and well dressed people attracted attention, like Bushra Masood in heavy traditional wear and Nabeela A Khan in churidaar.
