Grand finale of Youth Festival
It was a fitting finale to the fortnight-long Youth Festival 2007-2008 'Saptrangi' hosted by a city science college.
It was a fitting finale to the fortnight-long Youth Festival 2007-2008 'Saptrangi' hosted by a city science college.
A series of performances - skit, mime, poster painting, collage, classical and light vocal music and classical dance were organised to showcase real talent of students .
The valedictory ceremony took place at the Senate Hall on Friday evening. Dr N K Patel, Pro Vice Chancellor, Gujarat University , was the chairperson and Jimmy Nanda (Mrs Universe 2007) was the chief guest.
There might have been only a few winners, but there were enough friends and family members in the auditorium to cheer and congratulate them.
Even as the evening drew to a close, we saw youngsters laughing through tears as they hugged each other. Didn't someone say, college days are the best part of our lives? AM
