Film festival in Ahmedabad

Films are made of dreams, desires and aspirations. And most importantly the hunger to tell a story to the world.
And share your passion with million others. Ahmedabad had its share of that passion when creative minds from different countries came together for the inauguration ceremony of an international film festival on Thursday night.
The guest of honour for this occasion was renowned director Sudhir Mishra.The ceremony started with two Kathak performances by Maulik Shah and Ishira Parikh���s group. The wonderfully choreographed sequences namely Mirror-Ek Khoj and Taali won many hearts. Speaking on the occasion, Sudhir Mishra said, ���I feel great to be a part of such a good initiative and I would suggest people to see films and not movies alone.��� The jury members Govind Nihalani, A Sreekar Prasad, Sanjoy Ghosh, Manisha Koirala, Vinod Dua, Dorothy Wenner, Alina Rizvanova, Naresh Kapuria and Kajal Oza were also present. The ceremony also saw a book launch by Vivek Desai.
Shiladitya Bora, the brain behind the film festival acknowledged the collective effort. It was cr��me de la cr��me of Ahmedabad who came to be a part of this amazing event.
