Whenthe city’s popular models sashayed down the ramp at The Grand Ballroom ofThe Corinthians Boutique Hotel in collections that depicted the champagne lookin an event conceptualised by food writer and wine enthusiast Jyoti Balani, theevening became more alluring. Arun Arora, General Manager, The Corinthians Boutique Hotel, Ashish Chandani and Ravi Jain played gracious hosts for the evening. The evening began with music and popping of the sparkling wine. As the guests settled down, they enjoyed rose, white and red wines complemented by gourmet cuisine. Mayfair Banquets team of chefs dished up delectable dishes such as Asparagus and Pinenut Filo Turnovers, Vegetable Tempura with soya chilli emulsion, Grilled Paneer bites with Olive Tapenade, Chicken Liver Pate on Garlic Croute with Chilli Fig Jam, Grilled Fish with Wasabi Mayonaise that paired excellently with the wines. The fashion show showcasing the ensemble of Salim Asgarally was choreographed by show director Chaitanya Gokhale. The guest list had the likes of Amol Palekar and Sandhya Gokhale, Dilip Chhabria, Dr. Anand Koppikar, Sabina Sanghavi, Rohit Gera, Suraj Repe, Vijay Kutty, Werner and Daniela Ploner, Rusi and Nicole Bhatnagar, Ritu and Arun Nathani, Corina Manual and other wine connoisseurs. The Corinthians Boutique Hotel is a class apart among the hotels in Pune and hosts a number of events attended by who’s who of Pune. Corinthians is organising an event for the expats in Pune at their brew house on Novemeber 19.
