You need a reason to party. How about two?
A freshers��� party and a farewell, this do marked both where students of INIFD ate, drank and swayed to the tunes of some hip shaking music as some celebrated their entry into college ��� the world of fun, friends and masti while others partied to capture these beautiful moments forever in their memories as they graduated from the institute.
The Beauty and the Beast: Interestingly, the bash was a perfect of contrasts, as some of them dressed like devils and sported scary masses while others flaunted trendy evening gowns, skirts and dresses. To put curiosity to rest, Kamla Poddar, director of the institute, explained, ���Students are dressed in sync with the theme of the bash. For freshers' the theme is ���1942 A Love Story��� and for the pass outs it is ���Devil and Vampire������.
Full On Fun: As the theme was an unconventional one it was interesting to observe the reactions of students when they saw their friends. Some were pleasantly surprised while others laughed their hearts out. Anjali Singh, who was decked up like a witch caught our eye. She giggled, ���Since I wanted to look different I chose to dress like a witch. The look is inspired from the movie Chronicles of Narnia. It���s really fun,��� she said. Sunit Roy
