Apart from the masti and naach-gaana, fashion dominated this college fest. And why not, after all it was organised by students of a fashion design institute. From traditional sarees to short dresses to skinny jeans, the PYTs flaunted it all. “We all waited for the fest the whole year and it is so much fun,” said Zoya.
The fest had everything – from dance performances to a rock band session, a play and a fashion show, of course.
And what added to the fun was the enthusiastic response of the crowd that cheered, sang and danced along with the participants.
Though the event turned out to be a huge hit among students but organising it wasn’t a cakewalk. “Putting things together surely wasn’t an easy task but it feels so good when you work so hard for something and it’s appreciated,” said Anuradha, one of the organisers. Earlier, we had a sneak-peak of the goings-on backstage and found some students busy in last minute preparations and others congratulating participants for their good performances.
