City celebrates Diwali bling!

The Diwali season is a time when fashion designers bring their creative best to their art.
A preview of festive collection held at Araliya, a designer store in Koregaon Park, reflected the spirit of the season. There was a gathering of city glitterati and fashion aficionados over high tea. The guests appreciated the beautiful designs, especially the hand painted Kalamkari collection by Asmita Marwa.Araliya is a preferred destination for western designer outfits. But, for Diwali the store has unravelled an exclusive collection of Indian wear. While the traditional patterns have been highlighted in the collection, there are designs and colours for the eclectic too. Some of the designers who showcased their collection are Cherie D, Dozakh, Vizyon, Divya Anand, Gauri and Nainika. There are accessories by Crimzon, Stoffa and Elements of Desire. Among the guests there were Aparna Firodia, Payal Kalmadi, Bhavna Kothari, Nisha Gandhi Ritu Malhotra and others. The collection will be showcased till October 18.
