DJ Sammy (TOI Photo)Love knows no barriers of age, caste or creed and this was seen at a Pre-Rose Day bash held at a city hotel on the eve of Valentines Day.
It was christened such, in order to avoid the wrath of the moral police. Hearts in many shades of red added beauty to the venue. As DJ Pep-C and DJ Sammy from Pune, revved up the mood of the party by playing a range of groovy numbers, people were seen having a blast.

They had come together to celebrate the day of love and shared one thing in common -- zest for life. In fact, so busy were they dancing that they had no time to eat the pastries and patties being served.
Dance baby dance
When songs like Pyar bina chain kahaan re, Just chill chill, Babuji jara dheere chalo, Sajnaji wari wari were being played, people's energy reached a high. Harshal Chauhan said, "I believe in partying hard and that's exactly what I am doing here-- having a blast."
Dressed to kill
The occasion was celebrating love and so red was the dominant colour. However, a perfect contrast was provided by some partygoers, who came in black. If Nivedita Karmarkar's halter neck dress fetched her a lot of compliments, Rashmi Nathani's stunning black and white net dress grabbed a lot of eyeballs.

A time to bond
While youngsters took to the dance floor with enthusiasm, many like Roshan Wahane, Saurabh Damle, Vishal Rajput were spotted discussing their future plans, which included going to Australia to pursue higher studies. Saurabh was missing his Valentine but took a loving dig at her, saying, "I am here to tell my Valentine that I can enjoy even without her! She is in Std XII and is preparing for her practical examination."
No cozy moments!
Not everybody was in the mood for love. Sunaina Jham, who was enjoying the party, said, "The crowd is wonderful and the bouncers are keeping a strict vigil so that the couples don't get too cozy with each other. It's a great relief."
