It was time for the vegetarian cuisine lovers to tickle their taste buds as Madhusudan Pacheriwala organised annakut, a religious ceremony, after celebrating the festival of lights. All his close family and friends were there at his residence not just for the religious festivities, but also to meet and bond with friends. The annakut was the central attraction of the day and saw a grand offering of more than 50 different vegetarian delicacies to the Almighty.
Madhusudan who was welcoming the guests along with his wife Shilpi explained, "This is a day where there is no use of garlic and onions in the food items. It is also a time to enjoy the purely vegetarian dishes. I guess after all the rich sweets we eat during Diwali, this simple food really tastes yummy." As everybody was relishing the delectable delights, a happy Shilpi said that all her effort at organising this had borne fruit. "All of us in the family have been preparing for this day for more than a week. It was quite hectic, but now seeing all the guests enjoying the food, I feel great." Surely, it was a perfect and healthy way to bring an end to the festivities.
