For a great cause: The event also saw some Rajasthani folk dance performances that kept the audience hooked. The main attraction of the evening was the showcasing of traditional handloom and cultural dresses designed by the students of department of GPEM and Fashion designing. We are delighted to perform this evening as this is not one of our usual performances. We have taken up the cause of promoting our traditional handicraft, said an excited Parul.
Moments of pride: Students walked the ramp wearing trendy outfits crafted out of from humble khadi, the fabric that once used to be a symbol of nationalism. The audience was overwhelmed as students saluted the tricolour performing on the tune of Vande Mataram. The credit of organising such a fabulous programme goes to our enthusiastic students who made the evening a memorable one for all of us, said Dr Rakhi Gupta, Principal ICG.
