It was not just one of the usual guest visits for the young kids who were curious to watch the master performing in front of their eyes.
Though they were more interested in the dance drama by renowned Mallika Sarabhai, they never realised that the mere performance will prove an interesting interactive session giving them information on history and classical dances.
Youngsters are fun: Mallika was happy to be a part of the young crowd as she said that she always loves to interact with the youngsters and share with them some interesting facts about our culture and tradition. ���It is really important for the young kids to know the situations that our country is facing today and it is necessary to make them aware of the history and culture of our country, but in a way that they can understand,��� said Mallika. Also present at the function were Principal Kulbhushan Kain and his wife Sangeeta.
Theatre a better medium: The troupe of young dancers also involved Anahita, Mallika���s daughter who these days is accompanying her mom and honing her acting skills. ���It really feels great to reach out to the young audience through dance and theatre,��� said Anahita. Others who accompanied her were Sonal, Charmi, Manohar and Murali Narayan.
