A mast fashion show
On Friday night, Ahmedabad’s temperature soared considerably, when some showstoppers walked the ramp at a hip and happening annual fashion event.
In Ahmedabad, the fashion hunt included nine participating colleges including BK School of Management, National Institute of Fashion Design, HL College of Commerce and L D Arts College.
The venue was rocking with young people cheering for their respective colleges. But there was more to the evening — the judges! The panel comprised Priyanka Shah, Femina Miss India Tourism 2007 and winner of Miss Tourism 2007 in Malaysia, actress and model Anupama Verma, and VJs Cyrus Sahukar and Mia.
The stage dazzled with lights and smoke when students presented their work.
The winners were — HL BBA won the the first prize, while HLCC was the first runners-up. Shaishav, from GM Patel College, and Manali Patel from L D Arts College, were adjudged the Photogenic Faces of the evening.
Thanks to their perfect synchronisation, NIFD won the Best Choreography award. The most awaited Dude and Diva titles were stolen by Sharman Patel and Nidhi Bhatt respectively.
When the night sparkling with fashion, music, lights and fun finally came to end, we could hear collected sighs of regret. And we’d love to see an encore next year!
