A friendly match between Benaras Club XI and Commissioner XI in Varanasi

Though it did not have a nail biting finish, the match between Benaras Club XI and Commissioner XI was great fun from the word go.
This 20-over friendly match, won by Benaras Club, saw all the bureaucrats showing their cricketing skills. The guest of honour for the match was Seema Tewari, commissioner Chanchal Tiwari’s wife. She was in a playful mood while tossing the coin for the teams.
The secretary of the club, NP Singh jazzed up the evening with his tongue-in-cheek commentary.
The match ended quite differently on a musical note. Once the prize distribution was over, music took over. Seema sang Dil Ko Hazar Bar Roka, while Satish Ganesh was in a Banarasi mood and sang Khayee Ke Paan Banaras Wala.
