A culturally sound affair
Kshitij - a series of cultural programmes - organised by ICCR in association with a prominent private institute of technology and management in the city, came as a refreshing change for the Kathak lovers.

Organised in the institute premises, flawless performance (especially Krishna Leela in Dadra ��� Jao Kanha karo na mose...) by internationally acclaimed Kathak artiste Manisha Mishra was indeed a visual treat for one and all.
Prof AK Mitra, director of a city college, came as a chief guest while TJ Geeverghese, Salman Baig, Prof Laxman Sahu were the guests of honour. Meanwhile, Sandeep Chaturvedi and BP Savita were seen taking care of the arrangements.
The evening concluded with Manisha Mishra being honoured with Dr Akhilesh Das Sanskriti Samman followed by Sandeep Chaturvedi reading a note of thanks, after which all the guests enjoyed a sumptuous dinner.
