Street play creates awareness on disaster management

disaster management

week is being celebrated across the country, students and youngsters from

Nashik

also participated in an awareness drive recently.

Students from various educational institutes from the city performed street plays on

disaster

management creating awareness amongst citizens about their role during disaster situation. These sessions mainly answered the questions like how to react and what to do if they are in the situation. These performances were held at various locations around the city. These performances giving out apt messages were applauded by the citizens.

An awareness rally was also carried out by the

district administration

which informed onlookers about what their response should be during disasters. The rally commenced from Meher to go on to Red cross area, Shalimar and SB Marge and ending at collector's office.
