Thousands of Nashikites participated in Ekata Daud (

Unity Run

) organised today. The run was organised by

Nashik Police

.

The five kilometer run started at 6.30 am from

Police ground

. The runners ran from Police commissioner office, Gangapur Road, Vidyavikas Circle, Canda Corner and ended at Commissioner's office.

The run aimed at the spreading message of the unity and social harmony. The run saw participation of citizens from various age groups and gender. Number of students in the run was also high.

Participants

were also given certificates.
