The play not only threw light on the life events of Gautam Buddha but also detailed the events like Siddhartha’s journey to become a become Buddha, as he is known today.

The play has been written by Madhav Sonavane and directed by Prashant Hire. Sachin Chavan, played the role of Gautam Buddha and the other artists who performed were Munal Nile, Bhavana Shinde, Ashwini Suryavanshi, Sunil Jagtap, Sonali Gaikwad, Samrat Saudankar among many others. The play not only enthralled the audience through their performances, but also shared interesting and lesser known facts about the life of Gautam Buddha.
