Avartan Sangeet Samaroh enthralled Nashikites

The fifth edition of the Avarthan Sangeet Samaroh enthralled audience. It was organised by the

Nrutyangan

Kathak Nrutya Sanstha.

The two day fest started with Ganesh Wandana which was sung by

Kaushiki Chakraborty

. Dancer Sayali Mohadkar and her disciples presented Tarana a dance performance. Following this dance presented another Tarana based on Ahirbhairav. Younger dancers presented dance based on Raag Jog.

In second session, Parvati Datta from Aurangabad presented

Kathak

dance. In first performance she presented 'Shiv Panchakhar Stotra' which is description of Lord Shiva. First day concluded with the Murliya Man Main Basi Tori Sham, a thumari presented by Parvati Dutta
