, popularly known by his initials or as PL Deshpande, was a Marathi writer and humourist. As a tribute to him and to let people know about his journey, an exhibition was recently organised at the

Kusumagraj

Smarak by the Directorate of Cultural Affairs Maharashtra.
The exhibition also featured rare photographs of PL Deshpande, letters sent to him by his fans, various sculptures, etc. Artists from the city gave their best for the exhibition. Vidyaraj Bodhankar painted Antubarva, a character from PL's Vyakti and Vally, and other characters like Hari Tatya, Sakharam Gatane and Namu Parit also attracted visitors to the exhibition. Citizens of different age groups visited the exhibition and cherished the memories.
