Two states and a big fat Indian wedding in Nagpur

Wedding ceremonies of Amitabh and Rina Sinha’s daughter Nidhi, with Bengaluru boy Varun, was a perfect coming together of two states, where Southern sensibilities blended beautifully with Northern hospitality. Spread over three days, the ceremonies were attended by some of the most glamorously dressed men and women of the city. Some special guests flew in from various parts of the country and abroad too.
It was heartening to see the two sides mingle over varied rituals, including, haldi mehendi, sangeet and panigrahan, where each part of the wedding was celebrated with traditional fervour.
The gracious hosts ensured that their guests enjoyed personal attention and a fabulous spread.
