TARANG 2019 was a big hit

Delhi Public School Lava Hosted TARANG 2019 recently at cool swimming pool on the school premises. It is an annual inter-school swimming event wherein students showcase their speed and skill in swimming the Back Stroke, Breast Stroke, Butterfly Stroke, Free Style and Individual Medley. The participants compete in three categories - under 9, under 11 and under 14.The event saw 120 students from 32 schools competing in individual and team events. In the Under 9 category Nirbhay Gudhe of Podar International School and Sachi Fulzale of SOS Wanadongri were declared champions.Rajveer Singh Rawat of SFS and Aditri Payasi of CPS Dhabha were the winners in the Under 11 Category, Avaneesh Pillay of Sewasadan Sakshm Scool and Marushka Carrasco of St. Joseph’s Convent were the winners in the Under 14 category.Dr.Pravin Lamkhade, Assistant Lecturer at Rani Indirabai Bhonsle Mahavidyalaya, Kuhi District, Nagpur was the Chief Guest. Officials from the Aquatic Association of Nagpur judged every event.
