Rotarians had a jovial time at this multicultural theme party at Chitnavis Centre in Nagpur

Bright colours and exotic dances were the flavour of the evening, as the Charter night of the Rotary Club of Nagpur Ishanya was held at Chitnavis Centre. The event is held every year on their foundation day, and this year it had an aura of an awards night. The Board of Directors, comprising 25 members, including the President, were felicitated by the club.Since it was a multicultural event, we saw various performances like Arabic and Chinese dances by Rotarians Dr Anita Laddhad and Kavita Loya. Some of the dances were performed so mesmerisingly that the choreographer requested the dancers to perform in his personal show, which will be held soon. When we caught up with Vijayshri Khanorkar, the current President of the club, she said, "The night was a huge success. A lot of people praised us for having a theme-based event. The evening was all about felicitating our board members, and giving them due recognition for the work they have undertaken throughout the year." This was her last event as the President of the club, and the club plans to have another event in July, where the post will be handed over to the new President.
