About 80 members from I-Clean Nagpur and Priyadarshini Institute of Architecture & Design Studies (PIADS) cleaned and beautified the walls of the main entrance of Nagpur Railway Station, this Sunday. Due to it’s location, they invited a lot of attention from passengers and visitors.
This activity was done with the active support and participation of Central Railway’s Nagpur Division.
After the programme, there was a brief awareness presentation by Ashoke Parik of Gem Enviro Management, Delhi regarding plastic waste management and recycling & the journey of how a plastic bottle turns into fabric shown through the process-kit.
Age is no barrier for this group. They have volunteers ranging from 12 to 65+ year-olds who contribute in their own ways, towards the cleanliness and beautification of our city.
