Govinda gave his Nagpur fans a reason to smile on his visit to the city

Friday evening turned out to be really special for Govinda’s fans in the city, as the actor visited Nagpur for an event hosted by Vijay Jain for the Govinda fan club. The fan club is managed by Hitesh Chaudhary and Swapnil Bande. Looking cool in a white shirt, waist coat and a tie, the actor came to Nagpur Times office before the event. The ever smiling Govinda not only answered all the questions we asked in a carefree manner, but also made us laugh with his amazing sense of humour.
As he was leaving our office, several fans of the actor gathered outside and cheered for him as he waved at them. Thereafter, the actor left to address his fans at Zenda Chowk, Dharampeth. Vijay said, "Top stars go to big cities all the time, but they seldom visit small towns. The intention behind arranging Govindaji's visit to the city was to give his fans from the common walks of life, a chance to get up, close with him." Before his arrival, everything at the chowk came to a standstill and the traffic came to a halt. While many people could be seen standing in their balconies, some were also seen on the terrace of a nearby under construction building to get a better view of the actor. As Govinda arrived, the joy of his fans knew no bounds; they screamed his name in excitement. Hundreds of mobile cameras came alive to capture the actor in their frames. The actor was also presented with a gold frame of Lord Ganesha. Govinda thanked his fans for their support over the years and even delivered one of his popular dialogues. Though his visit at Zenda Chowk was a very short one, the star charisma worked wonders!
