City students try their hand at pottery

is a way of showcasing one’s talent and creativity. Keeping this mind, an extensive pottery training session was specially organised for the students of

DPS

,

Dabha

, at Tathastu Resorts - away from the city hubbub, in the pristine jungles of

Pench

.

At this workshop, a lot of youngsters got a chance to play at the potter’s wheel. The trainer, who happened to be a highly gifted tribal artisan, taught the finer nuances of pottery making to not only the students, but also their teachers.

It was wonderful to see the youngsters concentrate totally on their artworks, which they later took home, to showcase their craftsmanship to their family members and friends.
