Ambedkar College students’ moment of glory at DAIMSR Annual Awards at Dr Vasantrao Deshpande Hall in Nagpur

Everyone appreciates the academic excellence of a student, but what happens when someone gets a pat on back for being a late latif or a naughty last bencher?
Answer is- it gives negative motivation! This management funda was very well applied by Dr Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research via a glitzy award ceremony. The awards were given away under 60 different categories to acknowledge students' academic and non academic performances.While the student volunteers and faculties were on their toes to make it a success, parents of the nominated students were also very excited to know if their child would be able to take home any trophy. Monika Rane & Monika Ghodpage won the Jai-Veeru of the college award (female). While the king of the back benches were conferred on Saurabh Nimbalkar (senior) & Pratik Tabhane (junior), the queens of back benches were Lubdha Mundafale (senior) and Radhika Gore (junior). The day turned out to be extra special for Shiwani Shrivastava and Piyush Sharma as they both won two most coveted awards each, which were most popular student and Student of the year.
