You shook me all night long!

After the Bridal Sutra grand finale at the Gitanjali sponsored Lakm�� Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2009 on Friday, it was time to party all night long... well, even at four in the morning nobody seemed to be in the mood to go home!
Party people were on the go from the word ���go���, and there was a mad rush of sorts to get into the action zone, just like there was a mad rush to see Sabyasachi Mukherjee���s show.
It was one party but there seemed to be many parties going on simultaneously, starting from the lobby with a buzzing bar, then another bar inside with the DJ���s music ringing out loud, and then the coastal restaurant with a live band in attendance and a fabulous food spread with lamb biryani, Thai chicken curry, appams with stew and more.
Naturally, there were a whole lot of designers from the man of the moment Sabyasachi Mukherjee to Narendra Kumar, Arjun Khanna with wife Shefali, Babita Malkani, Kunal Rawal, Nachiket Barve, Nikasha Tawadey, Raakesh Agarvwal and Vikram Phadnis. Yes, the models were all there as well, partying the night away after five days of hard work ��� Viveka Babajee, Shamita Singha, Kavita Kharayat, Hemangi Pate, Vipasha Agarwal, Anchal Kumar with beau Anupam Mittal and Waluscha with hubby Marc Robinson.
Then there were the party hearties Esther and Raju Daswani who were having a gala time with Gary Lawyer, the energetic as always Kishin Mulchandani, Ash Chandler, Sammeer and Palak Sheth, Viren Shah and of course, Anil and Sabina Chopra, she all wrapped up in a sari this time. Dipannita Sharma was spotted on the party scene after long, she was having a whale of a time with Shruti Seth. Farid Currim, meanwhile, found company in Fahad Samar. A tres fashionable end to a hugely successful fashion week.
