Women get together to celebrate their talent

This literary evening was a tribute to Indian women poets from the 90s to date.
Guest of honour Mita Vashisht greeted good friend Neena Kulkarni with a warm hug; the two then listened to the works of poets including Menka Shivdasani, Arundhathi Subramaniam, Sampurna Chattarji and Marilyn Noronha. Author and editor of this anthology celebrating these poets Anju Makhija also read out a couple of verses after which Mita took to the mike and presented a dramatised reading of some of her favourite poems.Women got together to celebrate women���s talent... quite an evening, this!
