Celebrity chef Vikas Khanna was in the city for the Nokia App-tasting session with Lumia and 808 PureView cellphones.
Held at a SoBo restaurant, the evening brought together the technology and lifestyle communities. Four zones with unique foodie names were set up, where guests got a dose of apps. ‘Shots’ was about addictive apps like the City Lens, Clowning around, Angry at the birds, Tarot and Zomato.The ‘Sparkling wine’ zone had refreshing apps meant to be consumed in enjoyable company like Nokia Music, Wordament, The Silent Film Director and Morfo. The ‘Dessert’ zone had apps like Photosynth, Nokia Creative Studio (Photo), BookurTable, Nail Art Live Tiles, Where is my car. The men crowded the ‘bite-sized’ zone were apps macho enough for even the burliest football fan were accessible like the Food and wine pairing app, Epicurious, Alcohol Meter, and Tom and Jerry apps.
