Unveiling of Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2009 collection in Mumbai

It was an evening of glitz, glamour and music at the unveiling of the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2009 Collection at Poison, the most popular nightspot in Mumbai.
Compere Siddharth Kannan was at his charming and wittiest best and kept the audience in splits. Monali Thakur of Indian Idol fame kept the crowd grooving with her songs. Actress Mrinalini Sharma of Awarapan fame, Pantaloons Femina Miss India Universe 2008 Simran Kaur Mundi, Sherrin Varghese from Band of Boys, Shenazz Nadirshah and ace photographer Raj Mistry were among those present.
The 20 finalists walked the ramp in collections designed by Pantaloons to a live performance by Monali Thakur. These Indo-Western collections are young and trendy, the cuts are sleek, modern and tasteful keeping in trend with the current styles. The show was choreographed by ace choreographer Birendra Higgins. Designer duo Rajesh and Anirban will be designing the finale garments for Pantaloons for the PFMI 2009 pageant.
