The showstoppers must go on
It was a night when the likes of Upen Patel walked down the ramp.
Perizaad Zorabian bedazzled the packed house as she glided over the catwalk in a Neeta Lulla creation. Upen Patel did his swagger act while Raima Sen smiled shyly at the JJ Valaya show. Earlier, Sayali Bhagat walked for Ranna Gill and Nikhil Dwivedi and Amrita Rao did her bit for Surily Goel.
Showstoppers apart, it was quite a show on Tuesday that began on a happy Havana mood with Ranna Gill’s fun and uncluttered collection that included bikinis and one-piece swimwear in happy hues. Western glam took over with Surily Goel’s creations for the party season. Next in line was Varun Bahl with his blend of the vintage and the contemporary, the antique and the new. Drama and design came together in Neeta Lulla’s creations. And the grand finale was JJ Valaya’s timeless collection.
Look who's here! Keenly following every design of designer to the stars Neeta Lulla was another designer to the stars Manish Malhotra with Sheetal Mafatlal by his side.
Politically correct: Taking time off from his political duties was Anil Deshmukh along with his friend Vikaas Kanoi. They chatted with Mehul Choksi in between the fashion sequences.
