Surveen Chawla turns showstopper for Karleo on Day 2 of Bombay Times Fashion Week 2018

Apeksha Porwal (Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2017 2nd Runner-Up) set the stage on fire as she walked in dancing to the tunes of ‘Yeh Mera Dil’. The audience was transported to the 70s and 80s of Bollywood Bappi da style as the models walked the ramp wearing ruffled golden dresses, sequinned metallic skirts and sheer corsets. From quirky dresses to shimmery pants with big glares and feather caps - the show was true to its theme of Dream Girl.

Tassled ruffles, thread embroidered dresses, satin hair bands and matte mini skirts were some of the highlights of designer duo Karl and Leo. The colours for the evening were bottle green, monochrome, peach and gold, and silver and gold.

Surveen Chawla stunned the audience in a sequinned gold and green corset and a lemon yellow skirt with intricate sequin work on it. Talking about the collection, Surveen said, “I absolutely love the collection. It instantly took me back to the 70s and 80s of Bollywood. This is an absolute summer delight for a party. And I can't wait to flaunt more such ensembles by the designers.”
