Style for the UN

The ramp came alive with some sexy wear displayed by glamorous models.
Style for the UN
Scavenger women and sexy styles ruled this fashionable evening and the ramp. Unusual mix, right?
Coming up for the very first time is an Indian fashion show in the United Nations, organised by a NGO, to take place next month. And on Sunday evening you had a preview of this at a suburban five-star hotel.
The sneak peek had a surprise in store, for it was the scavenger women from Rajasthan, under the mentorship of Abdul Halder, who created all those seamless silhouettes and sexy styles.
1x1 polls
Hosted by a heavily-accented Amrit Maghera, with show director Tridib Raman and choreographer Marc Robinson in the house, the fashion flash saw the likes of our very own top models rule the ramp.
First, the male models: Shahwar Ali, Aryan Vaid, Zulfi Syed, Sudhanshu Pandey and Sahil Shroff all looking very dashing and debonair indeed. Next, the glam girls: Sheetal Mallar, Jesse Randhawa, Carol Gracias, Sanea Sheikh, Nethra Raghuraman, Fleur Xavier, Tamara Moss and twins Tapur and Tupur Chatterjee, both in beautiful bridal attire. Also present was Susan Burnett who made this mission possible. And walking in late with hat et al was Prahlad Kakar. Fashion with a cause, now thats real style!
