‘Stone’d immaculate!

It���s not everyday that His Royal Highness The Maharaja of Udaipur Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar takes the trouble to write the foreword for a book.
But he has consented to do so for none other than designer Nisha Jamvwal���s written venture ��� a book on the Indian craftsmen titled ���Iconic and Narrative Symphonies In Stone���.
For those unaware of this side of the interior and fashion designer, well, there���s more.This is her third such project, not surprising considering she has been dedicated to the cause of Indian craft for over eight years. Now here���s a beauty with brains!
After intensive research and extensive trips to Jaipur where she personally interacted with the craftsmen, Nisha has penned a book on the art of stone carving which traces the journey of a block of stone from being just a stone to a beautiful work of art; the book will be released tomorrow by a famed Bollywood star.
And the icing on the cake? Well, the words of praise from none other than the Maharaja of Udaipur! Wonder what else is up Nisha���s creative sleeve?
