Stars vow for a Car Free Sunday

Sunday is going to be Car Free Day in the city, and those associated with this initiative got together on Thursday evening to discuss the nuances of the project and kickstart the proceedings.
Chief patron for the event Baba Siddiqui was present along with Priya Dutt and her husband Owen Roncon; both Baba and Priya spoke about the need for such an initiative in pollution-filled Mumbai. Dino Morea fondly recalled his school and college days when he used to cycle everywhere. Kiran Shantaram added that he would like to see the rest of Mumbai get onto the cycle bandwagon as well. Dance choreographer Longinus Fernandes joked that for a change, he left his dancing shoes at home and came out in his cycling shoes. Mir Ranjan Negi and Sonya Mehra were also there to support the cause.
